Chiropractic care is growing faster then ever, and it is no surprise that millions have switched to the healthy and safe alternative to the dangerous side effects of prescription drugs.  Numerous medical studies have shown that Chiropractic care is safe, effective and more cost effective then traditional approaches.

What our clients have to say about us

At first I was leery to go to a chiropractor because I was concerned that it would not make a real impact on my life, ... I walked in with complaints of neuropathic pain down my legs and into my feet, constant migraines, back pain from an old Navy injury, and chronic fatigue. After only a couple weeks of getting adjustments, my neuropathy was GONE, my headaches cut in half, and I was sleeping more soundly and needing LESS sleep to feel rested...

Dr. Ashley has made my life so much better! My constant back pain is gone and I no longer take handfuls of ibuprofen. She also made my 2nd pregnancy more comfortable and smoother (too bad I didn't know her during my first!). The doctors and the staff at the office are caring, wonderful people who have made me feel like family. You need to become part of this family for your health!

Dr. Ashley, Dr. Steve and their Staff are amazing and they've truly changed my life and allowed me to stay in a very active career which I was considering leaving due to chronic pain. They are lifesavers and cannot recommend them enough.

Feeling dizzy? Vitamin D, along with your adjustments, may help! We now carry 10,000 IU Vitamin D in the office!

Vitamin D Reduces Severity of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo

A study published in Spring 2016 found that vitamin D supplementation mitigates the severity of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), one of the most common causes of vertigo. BPPV results in short episodes of mild to intense vertigo that occur after changes to the position of the head. BPPV has been related to vitamin D deficiency.

The study included 81 participants who had at least 2 or more BPPV episodes in a 6-month period. The researchers used a visual analogue scale to evaluate BPVV severity. Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25-OHD) was also assessed and subjects with levels below 20 ng/mL were considered vitamin D deficient. Epley's maneuver, a treatment used to decrease attacks of this type of vertigo, was performed on all patients once weekly for one month. Vitamin D-deficient patients were divided into a nontreated group and a group that received 50,000 IU cholecalciferol weekly for 2 months and then 50,000 IU monthly for an additional 4 months. The investigators compared results from these groups with a vitamin D-sufficient group that served as a control.

At 2 months, all subjects experienced a significant decline in BPPV severity. However, at 6 months, BPPV severity returned to baseline levels in the vitamin D-deficient patients who were not supplemented. Conversely, the group treated with vitamin D and the vitamin D-sufficient group maintained their improvement throughout the trial.

According to the researchers, "This study indicates that correction of vitamin D deficiency in BPPV provides additional benefit to rehabilitation therapy (Epley maneuver) regarding duration of improvement."
